Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation and medical-surgical care
- Float within scope of care and practice as needed
- Complete full 13-week contract length, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month
- Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
- Current NIHSS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
- Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
- Travel candidates only – local candidates will not be considered (within 75-mile radius)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across units within scope of practice
- Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
