Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Maryville, TN

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required, subject to change based on unit need

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit
Perform and assist with bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D)
Care for post-heart catheterization patients
Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
Float to similar units as needed based on census demands

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
Minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to complete required pre-assignment modules and testing within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with post-heart catheterization patient care
Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
First-time travelers will be considered based on overall clinical experience
