Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Rotating Night/Evening Shifts (19:00–07:30 / 15:00–03:30) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required as Scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, with the potential for up to 1:5 with lower-acuity patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed based on departmental staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland or a valid Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
• PALS certification – American Heart Association only
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI certification to be completed during onboarding

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – NRP or AAP accepted
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
