Registered Nurse – OB/GYN (Clinic)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Triage obstetric and gynecological patient concerns over the phone, applying clinical knowledge of obstetric emergencies
- Respond to patient inquiries via EPIC messaging and voice message in a timely and professional manner
- Recognize and respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies including placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, gestational hypertension, and preeclampsia
- Perform clinic nursing duties related to maternity and gynecological care of women
- Document patient interactions and clinical findings accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license, or pending licensure with proof of application submitted (must obtain within 2 weeks of start)
- Demonstrated knowledge of obstetric emergencies and appropriate clinical triage protocols
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred
- Ability to commit to a 13-week contract assignment with 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of experience in an OB/GYN or women's health clinical setting
- Prior experience in an outpatient or clinic-based nursing environment
- Familiarity with telephone triage protocols specific to obstetric and gynecological populations
