Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Step Down/IMC/PCU setting, monitoring and managing patients requiring an intermediate level of care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Continuously monitor patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and clinical status, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members regarding patient progress and care goals

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a Step Down, IMC, PCU, or similar intermediate care unit
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations in an academic or large hospital environment
