Job Title

Occupational Therapist – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location

Cookeville, TN

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; occasional Saturday half-days required

Key Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
Manage a caseload of approximately 6–7 patients per day
Document patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans using Paragon charting system
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery goals
Participate in occasional weekend coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee state occupational therapy license or valid compact license
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
No pending licensure accepted – must hold active, unrestricted license at time of submission
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (travel candidates only)
Ability to work occasional Saturday half-days

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
Familiarity with Paragon electronic health records system
Experience as a travel therapist or openness to first-time travel assignments
