Job Title

Physical Therapist – Acute Rehab

Location

Cookeville, TN

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; occasional Saturday half-days

Key Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services within an acute rehabilitation setting
Manage a caseload of approximately 6–7 patients per day
Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for acute rehab patients
Document patient progress and clinical notes using Paragon charting system
Participate in occasional weekend coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee state license or valid compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility location
Proficiency or ability to learn Paragon electronic charting system
Travel pairs are permitted

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation environment
First-time travel therapists are welcome to apply
