Job Title

Registered Nurse – PICU

Location

Baltimore, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
Manage patients with diagnoses including respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management needs
Perform and monitor special procedures including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP
Float to NICU and Pediatrics units as needed within scope of practice
Complete required orientation and annual compliance modules virtually

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience
Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
Current BCLS certification required
Current PALS certification required
Ability to float to NICU and Pediatrics within scope of practice
Professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with arterial lines, central lines/CVP, and vasoactive drips
Comfort managing complex pediatric diagnoses including DKA and seizure management
First-time travelers welcome
