Main OR RN – Operating Room Registered Nurse

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts (0645–1915) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in the main operating room
- Scrub and/or circulate on a variety of surgical cases including trauma, neurological, and orthopedic procedures
- Participate in a rotating call schedule covering weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) within a six-week schedule rotation
- Be available for an "asterisk" call shift each week, with the possibility of being asked to extend up to 2 hours beyond the scheduled shift end to cover cases running late; extended hours are compensated as on-call time
- Assist with holiday call coverage as needed when holidays fall on weekdays
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience in Trauma, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedic surgical services
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma center operating room environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to varied surgical specialties and fast-paced OR settings
