Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 4x10, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 36 Weekly Guaranteed Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across outpatient to critical care inpatient settings.
• Assist with vascular surgeons in the OR and Hybrid Imaging suite; support endovascular and open cases alongside a team of nurses and surgical technicians.
• Function as both scrub and OR circulator, utilizing the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care.
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professional accountability in accordance with applicable nursing practice standards.
• Fulfill call requirements and weekend hours as required by the facility; average call is approximately 5 or fewer occurrences per 8-week period.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or hold an active Missouri RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Minimum 2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma experience (teaching hospital experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience as both a scrub technician and OR circulator.
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Vascular experience with demonstrated competency in conscious sedation.
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required from November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 Trauma experience with multiple years of progressive OR experience.
• Familiarity with robotic surgical systems, including the da Vinci Surgical System.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR).
