Contract | Days | Monday–Thursday 9:30am–7:00pm, Tuesday–Wednesday 7:30am–4:00pm, Friday 7:30am–1:30pm | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and all regulatory requirements; maintain professional licensure in good standing and fulfill all state-mandated continuing education requirements
• Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives and contribute feedback to maximize quality of care outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans
• Knowledge of and adherence to discipline-specific professional codes of conduct and state practice acts
• Competency in medical record documentation including compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
• Experience supervising or mentoring physical therapy students
• Familiarity with functional quality indicators and letters of medical necessity documentation
