Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide direct patient care in an operating room setting with a 1:1 patient ratio across 11 operating rooms
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments throughout the surgical process
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with applicable standards
• Perform duties and responsibilities consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards
• Fulfill call, float, and weekend requirements as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in an Operating Room setting
• Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Experience with Stryker equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of Operating Room experience
• Familiarity with a high-acuity surgical environment including trauma, STEMI, and stroke cases
