Travel Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (CCU) | Night Shift

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 hours per week | Projected Start: July 1, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Critical Care Unit with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Manage arterial lines, venous and arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients
• Participate in bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health record system
• Operate and monitor GE patient monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Adhere to unit floating policy and scheduling requirements, including 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1–2 years of critical care experience
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
• Demonstrated ability to manage ventilated patients and hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators
• Familiarity with massive transfusion protocol and bedside central line assistance
• Background in a high-acuity ICU or CCU environment
