Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population on a telemetry-capable unit
- Care for patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes, surgical and surgical observation cases, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, and psychiatric observation needs
- Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other facility campuses within the health system as needed
- Complete required onboarding modules and pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance and orientation
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts permitted; study materials not provided)
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; current driver's license required at submission to verify address
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience as a Charge RN
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
