Physical Therapist (PT) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) Travel
Location
Sacramento, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36–40 Hours per Week | Start Time: 8:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting, managing 4–5 patients per day
- Deliver up to 6 hours of daily treatment time focused on individualized rehabilitation goals
- Treat patients recovering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI), orthopedic trauma, stroke, neurological conditions, and amputation
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using Cerner EHR
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience in acute rehabilitation or acute care settings
- Proficiency with Cerner or comparable EHR system
- Ability to work a day shift schedule with potential weekend rotation every 2–3 weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience treating TBI, SCI, and orthopedic trauma patient populations
- Familiarity with intensive inpatient rehabilitation program structures and IRF standards
