MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and departmental procedures
Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality standards
Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality prior to submission
Document patient information and imaging data accurately in the medical record system

Required Qualifications

Active ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
Current state licensure as required
Hands-on experience operating MRI equipment and performing MRI procedures
Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contrast administration guidelines
BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in a hospital or acute care imaging environment
Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and advanced imaging techniques
Strong patient communication and customer service skills
