Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location

Cookeville, TN

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a short-term acute care facility
Care for inpatient Medical Surgical and Oncology patients
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5–6 at all times
Document patient care and clinical information using Paragon charting system
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
Fulfill every-other-weekend scheduling requirement

Required Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid compact state license
Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
No pending licenses accepted at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Medical Surgical and/or Oncology patient populations
Familiarity with Paragon electronic health records charting system
Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting
