Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 hours per week | 26-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate admission orders and complete the admission navigator for incoming patients
• Perform and document initial admission assessments within a rapid-throughput environment targeting a length of stay of 4 hours or less
• Manage cardiac and anticoagulant drips, including medications such as Cardizem and Heparin
• Maintain efficient, independent workflow in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care setting
• Float to other units as required and adhere to holiday scheduling requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state license or multistate compact RN license — no pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — must be current at time of submission
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) — must be current at time of submission
• No disciplinary actions or hits on nursing license — no exceptions
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or medical-surgical environment managing a wide variety of patient diagnoses
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a dynamic, high-volume setting
• Strong time management and clinical judgment skills with the ability to support rapid patient progression
