Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with diagnoses including fractures, COPD, hypertension, chest pain, CHF, and infectious conditions
• Accurately document patient information and care activities using the Paragon electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to weekend assignments as required per unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Must meet travel designation requirements (residence 60 or more miles from facility)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with the Paragon EHR system
• Experience caring for geriatric and adult patient populations in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with common Med Surg diagnoses including CHF, COPD, and post-operative orthopedic care
