Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Location

Frankfort, Kentucky

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and induction of labor (Cook catheter, Cervidil, oxytocin)
Circulate for cesarean sections as required
Perform IV insertion, lab draws, sterile vaginal exams, Foley catheter placement, and epidural assistance
Utilize fetal monitoring equipment including Corometrics 250 series and Monica monitor
Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse and Centricity Perinatal (CPN) EMR systems
Function as a team player within a collaborative unit staffed with RNs, OB technicians, and unit clerks

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience in a hospital setting
Active Kentucky RN license or Compact license valid in Kentucky at time of submission
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
Ability to circulate for cesarean sections
Experience with Alaris pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, and fluid warmers

Preferred Experience / Skills

5 or more years of Labor & Delivery experience
Prior experience with Meditech Expanse and Centricity Perinatal (CPN) EMR platforms
Experience in a unit with Level 2 NICU or newborn nursery integration
