Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) setting, with the ability to float between IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units as needed
• Manage and care for patients presenting with conditions including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical diagnoses
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including the potential care of COVID-positive patients
• Comply with facility policies including tobacco-free and fragrance-free environment standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license violations or hits
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Current NIHSS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across IMC, Orthopedic, and Rehabilitation units
• Familiarity with EKG interpretation (candidates may be required to pass an EKG competency exam within 72 hours of contract signing)
