Registered Nurse – PACU

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (10:00–20:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to patients across a range of acuity levels, from outpatient to ICU-level patients
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Fulfill call requirements as assigned within the scheduling period
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
- Telemetry skills required
- Comfort with ICU-level patients or willingness to learn required
- Must not be a first-time travel nurse
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric recovery patients
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced PACU environments
