Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient care functions in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Cardiac Progressive Care) unit setting
- Collaborate with the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse and Unit Director to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to telemetry readings and cardiac changes in patient condition
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a collaborative team player with flexible scheduling
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- MOAB or CPI certification preferred
