Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry / Stepdown / Medical-Surgical (Travel, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide total patient care for telemetry, stepdown, and medical-surgical patients in a 31-bed unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 throughout the shift
Float to medical-surgical unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
Document all patient care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
Adhere to all facility dress code and infection control policies, including scrub color requirements

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (all ACLS modules must be completed)
Minimum 1 year of telemetry or stepdown nursing experience
Proficiency with total patient care delivery model
Ability to work every other weekend as scheduled
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience with Cerner EMR
Background in both telemetry and medical-surgical nursing environments
Experience in a travel nursing capacity with demonstrated adaptability to new units
