Job Title

Travel: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures while supporting efficient patient flow and throughput
Observe and maintain radiation safety protocols when handling radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals used in the department
Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; follow downtime procedures and escalate issues to the PACS administrator as needed
Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in quality assurance, and report equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel
Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by applicable licensure and regulatory standards
Demonstrate flexibility by working alternate shifts or at additional campuses as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent
Nuclear Medicine Technology certification through ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
Active Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license issued by the Texas Medical Board required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required — American Heart Association only
Minimum 1 year of clinical nuclear medicine experience
Basic computer proficiency required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience working in a high-volume or multi-campus imaging environment
Familiarity with PACS systems and image archiving workflows
Demonstrated ability to adapt patient care approaches to meet diverse physical, psychosocial, and age-specific needs
