Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU

Location

Syracuse, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 36–40 hours per week | 16-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide post-anesthesia recovery care for inpatient and 23-hour stay acute PACU patients in a 17-bay unit
Recover critical care patients following a wide range of surgical procedures including Endoscopy, ENT, General, GYN, GYN Oncology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular surgery
Assist in the recovery of high-risk Cesarean Section patients
Care for a primarily adult patient population with some pediatric cases
Fulfill weekday on-call requirements as scheduled
Accurately document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of PACU experience
Demonstrated ability to recover critical care patients
Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience
