Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, No Weekends or Holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
  • Conduct PET scan procedures (prior experience preferred; on-site training available)
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
  • Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
  • Participate in optional on-call shifts (Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM) with a 60-minute response time if interested

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Active California state license required (must be in hand at time of start; no pending licenses accepted)
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NMTCB or ARRT certification required
  • No first-time travelers; candidates must have at least 2 years of experience
  • Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior PET scan experience strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system
  • Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital environment
