Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Orange, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8 Hours, Monday–Friday, No Weekends or Holidays

Key Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
Conduct PET scan procedures (prior experience preferred; on-site training available)
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic EMR
Participate in optional on-call shifts (Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM) with a 60-minute response time if interested

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
Active California state license required (must be in hand at time of start; no pending licenses accepted)
Current BLS certification required
NMTCB or ARRT certification required
No first-time travelers; candidates must have at least 2 years of experience
Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior PET scan experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with Epic charting system
Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital environment
