Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location
Carlsbad, New Mexico
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | No weekends, no call, no floating required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct organ and body scans to provide diagnostic aid to physicians
- Administer and accurately record isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocols
- Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity
- Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish departmental goals
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine tasks under general supervision with a degree of creativity and latitude
- Report to the chief technologist or department manager as directed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Nuclear Medicine Technology certification required
- ARRT certification required
- Active New Mexico state licensure required
- Fingerprinting required per state traveler requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Philips Brightspeed imaging systems preferred
- Familiarity with MedHost (EDIS) EMR system a plus
