Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location

Carlsbad, New Mexico

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | No weekends, no call, no floating required

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct organ and body scans to provide diagnostic aid to physicians
  • Administer and accurately record isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental protocols
  • Observe patients during procedures and report any abnormal activity
  • Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish departmental goals
  • Perform a variety of nuclear medicine tasks under general supervision with a degree of creativity and latitude
  • Report to the chief technologist or department manager as directed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology certification required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Active New Mexico state licensure required
  • Fingerprinting required per state traveler requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with Philips Brightspeed imaging systems preferred
  • Familiarity with MedHost (EDIS) EMR system a plus
