Job Title

Registered Nurse – LTAC (Travel, Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Projected Start: August 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy support, central line management, and telemetry monitoring
Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

Active Colorado RN license or a multi-state compact RN license
Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an LTAC or comparable setting
Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
Knowledge of central line care and maintenance
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6

Preferred Experience / Skills

Wound care experience in an LTAC or acute care environment
Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in LTAC settings
