Travel RN – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | Days (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a multi-specialty OR environment with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Circulate and/or scrub across a variety of surgical procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic/spine cases
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia teams, CSTs, and ancillary staff to ensure safe and efficient surgical care
• Utilize standard OR equipment including Stryker video systems and document care using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, including one weekday evening per week (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM) and weekend on-call on a rotating basis approximately once every six weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience in the Operating Room
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience both circulating and scrubbing in a hospital OR setting
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to changing surgical environments with a focus on patient experience
