Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 24/7 emergency department setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Heart & Vascular Services, Neurosciences, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Surgery
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
Current Michigan RN license in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Prior experience with Cerner EMR
