Travel RN – Radiation Oncology
Location
Englewood, Colorado
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic setting
- Perform symptom management and ongoing assessment for patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Educate patients and families on radiation therapy processes, side effects such as skin changes and fatigue, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation using Meditech and Mosaic EMR systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, physicists, and front office staff to coordinate patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current Radiation Oncology RN experience in an acute care setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience specifically in Radiation Oncology
- Previous experience with Meditech EMR
