Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Prior experience in an emergency department or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

TNCC or CEN certification preferred
Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
