Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Walla Walla, WA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends Required | Block Schedules Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care
- Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts as part of a block schedule
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a trauma center or acute care hospital environment
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
