Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Walla Walla, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends Required | Block Schedules Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care
  • Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and charting
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts as part of a block schedule
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Washington State or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a trauma center or acute care hospital environment
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
  • Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
