Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients admitted to the intensive care unit
- Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Deliver and coordinate life-sustaining treatments and interventions
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting
- Demonstrated ability to care for patients on mechanical ventilation and vasoactive drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification or pursuit of critical care certification
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
