Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate total nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical setting
Participate in patient and family teaching and education
Collaborate cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care team personnel
Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting
Recognize the individuality of each patient and ensure mutual goal setting between the nurse and patient
Protect and uphold patient rights and privacy at all times

Required Qualifications

Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Pediatrics (Peds) nursing experience
