Job Title

Travel RN – Surgical ICU (SICU)

Location

Wichita, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio, or 1:1 for high-acuity patients including post-CABG cases
Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and ECMO
Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients
Perform and assist with procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drip administration
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
Active RN licensure in good standing
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

TNCC certification
Prior travel nursing experience at large trauma facilities
