Emergency Department RN - Variable Shift

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | 3 x 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients across varying acuity levels
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
  • Adapt to variable shift times based on patient census needs

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Prior Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Current PALS certification
  • Previous charge nurse experience
  • Experience as a clinical preceptor
