MRI Technologist

Key Responsibilities

Perform MRI studies utilizing GE 3T and GE 1.5T scanners in a multi-modality imaging department
Float and provide coverage across additional modalities including CT, X-Ray, OR, Endoscopy, and ED as needed
Operate EMR (EPIC) and PACS (McKesson) systems for imaging documentation and workflow
Adhere to department scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, and on-call/standby rotations
Complete department-specific orientation within 1–2 shifts and adapt quickly to department protocols

Required Qualifications

Active ARRT certification required
MR certification/credential required
Current BLS certification required
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Artificial nails are prohibited; compliance with facility fingernail policy is mandatory
All requested time off must be submitted upfront; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract will be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in X-Ray (XR) and/or CT imaging in addition to MRI
Familiarity with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
Demonstrated flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to work across multiple modalities
