Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Travel)
Location
Lufkin, Texas
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 2:1 to 3–4:1
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately using the MEDHOST electronic medical records system
- Float to Step-Down unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 2 years of critical care experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Proficiency with MEDHOST EMR
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to Step-Down or progressive care units
- Familiarity with 27-bed ICU environments and associated workflows
