Job Title

MRI Technologist - Overnight

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM | Includes holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs | 8-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

Operate MRI equipment efficiently and maintain a clean, safe scanning environment
Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
Coordinate with physicians to facilitate diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
Insert IVs as necessary for testing procedures
Document all procedures while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
Provide patient care tasks as needed throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
ARRT certification in MRI or Radiologic Technology
GE scanner experience required
Injection certification required
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
New York State Radiologic Technology license required (must be willing to obtain upon starting if not already held)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Level 1 Trauma Center experience
Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiology
Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to stand for extended periods
