Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Weeknight

Location

Washington, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Every 4th Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during weeknight shifts
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the treating physician
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical findings in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Emergency Room or acute care nursing experience
Ability to work weeknight shifts with every 4th weekend rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a critical access or rural emergency department setting
TNCC or CEN certification
Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
