Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical record systems
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Alabama or compact state eligibility
Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
Familiarity with travel nursing workflows and rapid onboarding processes
