Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Monday through Friday with 2–3 required weekends per 6-week scheduling period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonatal patients in a Level III/IV NICU setting
• Manage post-operative patients, including those with g-tubes and trach/vent requirements
• Operate and monitor various modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Deliver specialized care to high-acuity neonatal patients requiring advanced clinical interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of total NICU Level III/IV experience, with at least 1 full year in a Level IV NICU
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• NRP certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required)
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the submitted specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-operative neonatal patients including g-tube and tracheostomy management
• Proficiency with multiple modes of invasive and noninvasive ventilation in a neonatal population
• Experience in a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center environment
