Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and applicable hospital policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
• Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy care in a long-term acute care setting
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry and/or LTAC experience in a hospital setting
• Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2–5 years of total clinical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or Telemetry setting
