Job Title

Travel RN – Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

Location

Plano, Texas

Schedule / Job Type

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients throughout night shift hours
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
Experience in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) or similar critical care specialty
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced critical care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior travel nursing experience
Familiarity with cardiovascular monitoring equipment and hemodynamic management
CCRN or other relevant critical care certification
