Contract | Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Days | Onsite | Split between two outpatient clinic locations

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Manage a full hand therapy caseload including fabrication of splints across outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy settings
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines
• Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring functional treatment programs support effective return to community activities
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to the applicable State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining licensure in good standing and completing all required continuing education

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Florida in good standing
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy
• Demonstrated proficiency in splint fabrication and comfort managing a full hand therapy caseload
• Ability to work across two outpatient clinic locations (split schedule)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred
• Experience with student supervision and clinical education programs
