Contract | 12-Hour Day Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical and Pediatrics unit, managing adult patients with conditions including respiratory illness, stroke, neurological disorders, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:4–5 during day shifts, adjusting as census and acuity require
• Float to all inpatient units as needed throughout the facility
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season when applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt positively to frequent changes throughout a shift
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members and ancillary staff
