Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' conditions and interpret plans of medical care to deliver safe, competent, and individualized nursing care
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records including patients' medical information and vital signs
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license required
- 0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and practical nursing principles
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Familiarity with age-specific care considerations across patient populations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in a fast-paced emergency care environment
