Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts per week | 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a rehabilitation setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Nevada (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital environment
- Proficiency in dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
- Strong documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) skills
